Things to do weeks before you move in
Here is a Guide of things you need to think about and plan book and order weeks before you move in your New Home
Window Dressing
Get windows measured for curtains/blinds and shutters. (if being made will take 6-12 weeks) in the meantime buy paper blinds on the internet for privacy. They are cheap (under £10) and stick on so no holes in your new woodwork.

Phones, Internet & Satalite
Book you phone line and internet and satellite – they can take weeks to install. Check lines have been run to the house and where they are?
You may also need a booster for your mobile phone
Bins
Bins – You will need to order bins from the council which does take a few weeks. Recycling you are allowed 2 free and normal refuse 1 free
Garden bins you need to buy and pay a monthly subcription

Removals
Also check the removal people can get access to the house/apartment on the required day.
